With only 99 days left in 2019…

As a powerful woman said “Your faith must be greater than your fear” Jenifer Sincero. I have been thinking a lot about the goals that I wanted to accomplish in 2019 and the ones that I have actually accomplished. What did you set out to accomplish in January, February, March, etc? Did you have one or more goals this year that you accomplished with an accountability partner? Did you set out to accomplish a goal and you did not finish? You are not alone, I continue to work towards a healthier lifestyle and I look back sometimes and see how much I have accomplished.

If you lost your accountability partner and now it has been harder to accomplish what you set out to do, you should be so proud and thankful for all that you have accomplished. “The Universe loves a grateful person. The more you thank LIFE, the more that LIFE will give you to be thankful for” Louise hay.

Today is another day for Healthy Habits..Consistency!

Did you wake up with determination and ready to Shine? Do you have a New Years Resolution or an everyday resolution to be better? Do you continue to work on your Goals and Dreams? Did you know that 80% of people that set a New Years Resolution quit after the first week? I know a great community of people that are the 3% of the population that doesn’t quit and keeps on motivating everyone daily including myself.

I wake up with every morning and remind myself that my only competition is myself. Daily motivation is much needed and required to continue with any Goal that I set out to do. I Don’t worry about having a “hump” on the journey or my road to success because this only makes me stronger and wiser. I get up, dust myself off and continue. I have learned lessons from all the remarkable people that I have met in this great community.

What are your health Goals? How important are your Goals to you? Are you living your best life? Ask yourself these questions and whenever you are ready I am happy to have you join the community in your Health Journey.

Have a fabulous day.

One Meal at a time, One workout at a time. Because 1 day might be too much.

2017 started out with big dreams, new goals and a new routine. 2019 continues with this same vision and motivation. I read somewhere that we need motivation daily just like showers, what do you all think? how do you motivate yourself? Who are your biggest motivators? And do you do this daily? Send feedback, let’s see where everyone is at.

The Magic Bank Account

Please SHARE.

THE AUTHOR IS NOT KNOWN. IT WAS FOUND IN THE BILLFOLD OF COACH PAUL BEAR BRYANT, ALABAMA, AFTER HE DIED IN 1982.

The Magic Bank Account:

Imagine that you had won the following *PRIZE* in a contest:

Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400 in your private account for your use.

However, this prize has rules:

The set of rules:

1. Everything that you didn’t spend during each day would be taken away from you.

2. You may not simply transfer money into some other account.

3. You may only spend it.

4. Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400 for that day.

5. The bank can end the game without warning; at any time it can say,“Game Over!” It can close the account and you will not receive a new one.

What would you personally do?

You would buy anything and everything you wanted right? Not only for yourself, but for all the people you love and care for. Even for people you don’t know,

because you couldn’t possibly spend it all on yourself, right?

You would try to spend every penny, and use it all, because you knew it would be replenished in the morning, right?

ACTUALLY, This GAME is REAL … Shocked ??? YES!

Each of us is already a winner of this *PRIZE*. We just can’t seem to see it.

The PRIZE is *TIME*

1. Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds as a gift of life.

2. And when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is Not credited to us.

3. What we haven’t used up that day is forever lost.

4. Yesterday is forever gone.

5. Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time WITHOUT WARNING…

SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds?

Those seconds are worth so much more than the same amount in dollars.

Think about it and remember to enjoy every second of your life, because time

races by so much quicker than you think.

So take care of yourself, be happy, love deeply and enjoy life!

Here’s wishing you a wonderful and beautiful day. Start “spending”….

“DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT GROWING OLD…!”

SOME PEOPLE DON’T GET THE PRIVILEGE!

Real Transformation requires Real Honesty with yourself.

So I got real with myself and reminded myself where I have been. Being overweight and unhealthy all since I was 12 years old, and being raised by a single parent who had to be aware of the prices because she was feeding 4 young ladies. Recently I have reminded myself that if it took this long to get this unhealthy the least I could do was to give myself at least half the time to get back to my healthier self before my 12th birthday.

I have been reading a few books from amazing authors such as Jen Sincero You are a Badass. I have learned quite a few things from these books and I keep learning daily. If you are anything like me where you are second guessing yourself and you think that you will never do (enter your item), then I would definitely suggest to read or listen to positive and self helping books.

While I have been consistent with my nutrition part of my health journey, I have been struck by life with a few things while being on this journey. On October 2017 I fell at work and I broke several parts of my body which was another hurdle with being able to stay consistent with my workouts. So i understand when you tell me you are hurt or you are not able to do this or that. I prefer to tell myself “What am I able to do right now?” this way I can continue to move and little by little my body has gotten stronger and I have been able to succeed and get back on track. One of the hardest things that I have been told from one or more of my doctors is “At your age, getting back to doing the things you used to do before the fall is going to be close to impossible”.

I am very grateful for all the support, the community, the love, the help and suggestions from all the friends, family, physical therapists and coaches that I am around. With this information I have been able to start to do more of the simple things that I used to do before the fall such as wearing heels, hiking, dancing. I am only getting better daily and look forward to being better with every day that passes. Please share this story with someone you know because you never know what someone can take from different life stories. Thank you for reading and supporting.

Struggles Happen… Get through it!

It has been a while since I shared on here with all of you, my apologies guys. My new goal is to write more to share more and to do more. For the past 6 months I have been struggling with life. I am not one to complain because in my mind this does nothing. I would rather grow through the struggle and listen to other people who have been through something like what I am going through. I say all this to say that I have been struggling with a few things work, family and self discipline.

First I will share that I have worked for an HMO for the past 21 years and six months ago I almost lost my career due to changes in the company. I was going to be one more statistic of someone who works their entire life for a company and then they see themselves in the unemployment line. I am fortunate to say that as of January I have been working in a new department in a more fulfilling role.

In addition to all the pressure, tension and constant worry from trying to find another job I let go of a few things in my life that make me who I am. I stopped responding to friends, going out with family and lastly being healthy with my eating and fitness. I even stopped doing what I love the most Make-Up. Over the last few months I have been able to get back on track and now I can see more of myself. I have made steps toward being healthier and happier. Everyday I strive to be better and I look forward to sharing more with all of you. If you know anyone who can be motivated or can gain from my story please share.
